WA: Robber's getaway car would not start

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Perth motel .. but had to run off when
his stolen getaway car wouldn't start.

The man entered the Perth City Motel on Main Street at Osborne Park late last night
.. dressed in white overalls with a blue dishcloth over his mouth .. and robbed the manager
at knifepoint.

When his stolen white Ford Falcon wouldn't start .. he rolled it down the motel driveway
.. set it alight .. and ran off.
